Or since Ozone can be generated as with lightening, and the north and south pole being the opposite ends of the magnetosphere where we do already get ion storms that cause the "northern lights" the coincidence that the lack of Ozone in the most highly charged parts of the atmosphere is amazing. Then ad in the fact that the magnetosphere also shields us from the cosmic rays that correlate to cloud cover or the lack of it, and that cloud cover influences temperature and you see that the answer can be something other than CFC's and Co2 made by humans. Toss increasing skin cancer into the mix and the change in our protection from the sun seems a plausible answer, the shift in the magnetic north pole a few years back adds more interest to the magnetic/solar/cosmic ray theory.
