Grass Roots

Production of biofuel might be faster if we use a grass roots plan to ramp up an alternative fuel, small back yard type of production, maybe (micro industrial). OK I made that word up.  But you understand, it'd  be like a micro brew beer operation.

If any old plant matter will do then grass clippings and anything run through a chipper should work, the power company tree trimmers can dump at a micro refinery, the yard man can dump there too and the cuttings become bio fuel.

Bio fuel  Story about a new enzyme to help in the production of bio fuel from celulose.

"In a breakthrough that could make the production of cellulosic ethanol less expensive, Cornell researchers have discovered a class of plant enzymes that potentially could allow plant materials used to make ethanol to be broken down more efficiently than is possible using current technologies"
