Till then.... Democrats are hundreds of times funnier and more disgraceful than Bush. Bush says everything is legal, the Democrats are admitting they were duped, if they were then they need to forfeit their job. They needed to do their job and failed, Repubs and Democrats. Fire them all don't vote for incumbents. The Democrats are giving the Evidence that they Failed to do their job. They have no evidence that Bush broke ny law or failed to do his job.
That's interesting: You're blaming the Democrats for not knowing they were lied to until after the fact? Yet you find Bush, who actually disseminated the lies, blameless. Of course, if Bush is a "unitary
I see Bush as saying it's all what it is. No crimes, maybe the CIA got one thing wrong. We had a long list of things that took us to war and we need not reverse our decisions due to any one item. Bush is still satisfied he has made the correct decision. Remove any one item due to error and the rest of them still make the case for war. The Democrats are saying: the democrats were wrong to vote the way they did. If they were(wrong) and they are admitting they were duped into "voting wrong" it's a flaw in their character. We need to replace them. I don't want people who are incompetent, to hold such important positions of government. If on the other hand they think they were correct to vote to fund the war, despite being handed unconfirmed intelligence from the CIA on the one item(wmd). If they think the other dozen still justify the war, then they have done their job. Albeit they need to revisit the CIA's lack of quality information. ********** You can't go to your boss and tell him/her that your report was wrong because your secretary handed you the wrong numbers, but you thought you were right so he shouldn't fire you? Now you want to retract the report and all the time invested to that project. Then expect not to be fired. But if you got one item wrong and just scold your secretary and tell your boss that it's not major, the plan is still solid and you solved the problem with the data and it won't happen again. You might get to keep your job, huh. ************
executive," everything he does is within the law, even lying to Congress in order to ensure his Office controls everything. Bye-bye Constitution and checks-and-balances, because the President can do whatever he wants with no oversight. And he can't be investigated because he then claims "executive privilege" and refuses to answer.
Where did any of this happen, just point it out. The problem here is Liberals in Congress saying Congress did the wrong thing. They can blame who ever they want as to why, fine.... it's still comes down to.... we only have evidence(testimony/confessions from Liberals in congress) that they "voted wrong".... Why they did it, needs to be looked at by someone other than the guilty ones in congress. Maybe there could be an investigation by the Judicial system after the congress resigns. What did they know and when did they know it. If their Votes were Manipulated, that's as bad as *bribes* . ON THE OTHER HAND If they voted correctly and still support their vote for the war then they were not manipulated into voting wrong just given some bad info. watch the movie or read or google "Catch 22" The Democrats stepped in it with this one. "Catch-22" is common idiomatic usage meaning "a no-win situation" or "a double bind" of any type
How does that make the Dems incompetent?
If they admit to being duped or so incompetent as to casting their vote wrongly, and if the other reasons listed for war weren't enough, then what can you call it but incompetence? We are at war because they were FOOLS. If the Liberals in Congress believed the other reasons for war were sufficient to continue, then they are NOT incompetent because, while they were offered some wrong information they used the overall information to correctly assess the situation. And they voted and believed that war was and is the right decision.
